klea mckenna @ the beholder

i love scoping out the beholder every once in awhile for their fabulous roster of up and coming artists (i posted about lisa solomon's work at the beholder back in june). klea mckenna is one such artist, whose work in the series hollow mountain and other stories explores the imagery behind contemporary mythologies, short stories, folk tales and local gossip. her images are sort of spooky and dreamy at the same time. check out her series available at the beholder here. the beholder even lets you try it in your space for seven days before a final sale.
