blast from the past
i could have sworn i watched this crayola crayon factory video on mr. roger's neighborhood when i was little but found it on youtube under sesame street. crayola crayons are one of my favorite smells - ask sm, every time we're in the vicinity of new boxed crayolas i have open the box top to give them several big whiffs (even in walgreens last night). i'm glad to have gotten to the bottom of this video mystery.
now if i could just find the video where mr. rogers visits the postage stamp factory and we learn how this one is made.

I remember this on Mr Roger's too! Youtube can't be right. Thanks for this.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood...a beautiful day for a neighbour...ah miss it now I live in the UK! xxx
ReplyDeleteThis was my favorite segment on Mr. Roger's EVER. Fact is I never really liked him as a child... found him oddly creepy. Regardless, being a crayon junkie I loved watching the factory in action. I can't wait to take my kids there when they're older.
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely right. It was Mr. Rogers. This one was always my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI vividly remember watching this on Mr. Rogers'!!! Oh man, what a throwback!
ReplyDeleteHow funny, this was one of my all time favorite! I remember it from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood too. And also the tofu factory (I'm not really sure why, but I really loved that one).
ReplyDeleteone of my favorite childhood memories as well. i loved crayons of course but i also thought the music in this was pretty jazzy.
