check out this wisconsin cottage tour over at apartment therapy. what a cool project to renovate a little shack from a 1920s era motor cabin court. so cool there's a book about it and its journey. the book's title, a very modest cottage, comes from a great quote by thomas jefferson: "I would rather be shut up in a very modest cottage with my books, my family, and a few old friends...than to occupy the most splendid post, which any human power can give." who wants to take the summer off and hang out in sconnie?
