snowbound necessity one: blankets

i've been inspired by our big blizzard and want to do my "snowbound necessity" posts for a few days. necessity one: a quality blanket. you know what to do with a blanket. you're snowed in for pete's sake!

the woven merino blankets and throws by river farm look spectacular. river farm's whole situation seems so pastoral and picturesque: it "sits on the sunny bank of the narrow river in saunderstown, rhode island" and is home to a flock of merino sheep, whose wool is organically processed and spun on a vintage loom. they also produce fresh eggs, culinary lavender and honey. running a farm is hard work, but they make it seem so magical.
