speaking of the found object, chicago artist dolan geiman uses found objects as part of his inspiration for his work. he has gorgeous pieces for sale at his etsy shop, including these mixed media works, in which, he used found papers and salvaged wood. i would love his driftwood days piece on my wall, but it's so out of my price range. i definitely identifiy with the pastoral quality of his work. beautiful stuff. check out his blog, too.
