Retro Remix: Map Clock with Vinyl Numbers

I found a retro photo clock at the thrifts awhile back - you know the kind filled with your school photos through the years - and decided to do a little retro remixing by playing around with vintage maps and vinyl numbers. I used this quick tutorial to disassemble the battery clock movement, tacked sections from a vintage atlas over the openings and stuck on vinyl numbers through the front.

It's finished with a piece of heavy duty tagboard cut to size to keep the back of the clock neat (but you wouldn't have to do that, no one will see it anyway). It'd be easy to switch the paper out if you were looking for a quick refresh, too. This one is for sale at E's Emporium this weekend, so be sure to stop by if you're in town for the Fourth!
